Tips for the Best Chicken Wings
- For maximum flavor, marinate overnight or at least for a few hours. Keep in mind this will make them spicier, so if you're worried about them becoming too spicy, reduce the amount of sriracha sauce.
- For a less sweet version, skip the honey. It balances the spice really well, but not everyone likes the sweet touch. You can also just reduce the amount.
- To make the wings spicier, add 1-2 teaspoons of cayenne pepper. If it's still not spicy enough for you, puree your spice mix with one whole serrano chili pepper and a few whole jalapeno peppers.
- If using solid honey, microwave it for 15-30 seconds first. This will make it more liquid, and easier to mix with the rest of the ingredients.
