Tips and Considerations
You can probably get away with using less than 1 Tablespoon of olive oil. You should use at least 1 teaspoon, but you don't absolutely need to use the full amount.
Cutting out a bit of olive oil is a good way to lower the total calorie count of the dish.
You might enjoy this air fried salmon recipe with the addition of garlic. Just mince some fresh garlic and put it on top of the salmon along with rosemary, about one small clove per fillet.

Fresh garlic is best but a sprinkle of garlic powder or garlic pepper could also work.
Don't have any rosemary? This recipe will also work with just lemons and olive oil. The rosemary adds a nice punch of flavour, but the classic lemon salmon will work well on its own as well. Or, you could try it with other herbs.
Parsley, dill, thyme, and basil can all complement salmon quite well. Fresh herbs are best but dried herbs can work also.
To create the most flavorful salmon, you could make a pouch to cook the salmon in using tin foil or parchment paper. This seals in all the flavours and results in juicier, more flavorful fish.

Both parchment paper and tin foil are safe to use in an air fryer, but it's important to make sure the entire bottom of the fry basket isn't covered. These materials can block the flow of air which is vital for the dish to cook properly.
The pouch method in the air fryer might work best when cooking for one rather than making several servings.
